In this Adobe Photoshop tutorial i will show you how to turn a new photo into an old photo.

Step 1

Start by opening photo. Go to Image > Image size to reduce photo size to 1000px width and 750px height.

Step 2

We are going now to create noise effect. Create new layer, press D to set up foreground and background colors as black and white and then apply Filter > Render > Clouds.

Step 3

After that apply Filter > Noise > Add Noise with next presets:

Change layer mode to Soft Light for this layer.

Step 5

Now we are going to create light sepia effect. For this purpose I created new layer above and fill it with color of #e6e1cc.

Step 6

Then change layer mode to Color and you should get next effect.

Step 7

After that create additional layer with Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Levels:

And set up following levels presets:

To add scratches to the photo create new layer, press D to set up foreground and background colors as black and white and then apply Filter > Render > Clouds again.

Step 9

Apply Filter > Render > Fibers:

Now apply Image > Adjustments > Threshold:

Now apply Image > Adjustments > Threshold:

Apply again Filter > Blur > Blur More.

Step 13

Change layer mode to Soft Light and you will see the difference.

Reduce layer opacity to 70%.

Step 15

Create a new layer. Select Gradient Tool, select some appropriate colors, for example colors of #e5e5e5, #000000 and drag a radial gradient.

After that change layer mode for this layer to Overlay and tutorial is complete.

Cara Membuat Kolase Gothic di Photoshop

Kadang-kadang desainer harus membuat kolase dari beberapa foto. Di Bagian tutorial ini saya ingin menunjukkan teknik membuat kolase, dengan menciptakan kolase gothic sebagai contoh.

Langkah 1
PSD Buka file yang telah dibuat pada Bagian 1 dari tutorial ini. Buat layer baru, memindahkannya di bawah dan beri nama Latar Belakang. Pilih Paint Bucket tool, pilih warna hitam (# 000000) dan mengisi layer baru dengan warna yang dipilih.

 Langkah 2
Seperti kita selesai dengan langit, kita harus mengoreksi mengambil katedral mempertimbangkan warna langit. Ada banyak warna merah dalam gambar ini, jadi kita harus membuat katedral lebih merah. Pergi ke lapisan dengan katedral (itu harus di atas semua lapisan) dan menerapkan Image> Adjustments> Color Balance untuk itu.

 

 Langkah 3
Pusat komposisi yang mana kita harus menempatkan penekanan pada begitu dalam hal itu katedral, untuk lebih tepatnya beberapa menara, yang berdiri di atas katedral. Salin layer dengan katedral dan desaturate layer disalin menggunakan Image> Adjustments> Desaturate.

Mengubah kecerahan dan kontras dengan menggunakan Image> Adjustments> Brightness / Contrast dengan preset berikutnya:

Setelah itu menetapkan Soft Light mode blending ke lapisan ini dan mendapatkan hasil ini:

Katedral keseluruhan menjadi lebih tajam, tetapi kita harus menekankan hanya pada beberapa bagian-bagiannya, untuk membuat tampilan katedral lebih tiga-dimensi. Oleh karena itu kami pilih Eraser Tool dan sikat lembut-bermata, 200 px dengan diameter dan menghapus sebagian lapisan sepanjang tepi katedral di kiri dan di sebelah kanan, menghapus fragmen katedral dengan pohon dan meninggalkan hanya bagian tengah beredar katedral.
Jika kita menetapkan mode blending Normal ke lapisan ini, akan terlihat seperti gambar saya di bawah ini (ini membantu Anda melihat di mana Anda harus telah menerapkan Eraser alat). Gambar ini menunjukkan dengan jelas, apa bagian lapisan itu dihapus dari lapisan hitam-putih.

 
 Jika Anda memperbarui mode blending ke lapisan ini untuk membantu Anda menerapkan alat Eraser, jangan lupa di akhir untuk kembali ke mode blending Soft Light.
 Langkah 7 
Sekarang menempatkan penekanan layak menggunakan bayangan dan cahaya. Buat layer baru, menetapkan modus Multiply blending untuk itu, pilih Brush Tool (Opacity: 30%) dengan sikat halus-bermata, warna hitam (# 000000) dan menggelapkan katedral di kiri dan di kanan.

Langkah 8 
Kemudian ubah warnanya ke putih (# ffffff) dan mencerahkan bagian-bagian luar biasa dari katedral, bagian-bagian lain gelap lagi. Jika kita menggeser layer ke mode blending Normal, kita mendapatkan hasil tersebut, seperti pada gambar di bawah.

Katedral tampaknya dipisahkan dari langit, kita harus menghapus kelemahan ini. Untuk memulai, mari kita mengakui, bahwa katedral berwarna merah, itu warna hangat, dan ada warna biru dingin di langit. Mari kita menambahkan beberapa nada dingin untuk gambar katedral. Seperti langit adalah pembawa mayoritas warna, kontras dengan itu katedral tidak boleh terlalu banyak-berwarna, jadi mari kita hindari warna-warna cerah, hanya bermain dengan nada sedikit. As the color gamut is dark enough, it’s worth making this layer much darker using Image > Adjustments > Levels:

Change blending mode to this layer to Soft Light.

We should pay attention to the fact that despite of the dark sky, there is still a source of light in the composition, so there can’t be such dark roofs on the cathedral, they should be brightened. For this purpose select the Dodge Tool and brighten the roofs of the cathedral on the top layer.

Step 13

For the cathedral to harmonize with the sky, we should process it’s edges partially. Go to the original layer with the cathedral and erase its edges a bit by using the Eraser Tool (Opacity 100%) and a soft-edged brush, in this case the edges of the cathedral will visually partially acquire the background color adding perspective. After that, set brush opacity to 30%, choose a small-scale diameter and go thoroughly along the edge of the cathedral on the three remaining upper layers in order to intensify the effect of perspective.

Step 14

At the moment the cathedral doesn’t seem to be separated from the sky, but it’s still missing the reflections. We should just select the Eyedropper Tool and move the colors from the sky to the cathedral, thus adding reflection. Create a new layer. As we’ve already mentioned before, the cathedral shouldn’t be the same colored as the sky, therefore it’s worth selecting all the colors slightly more gray than the original ones and using the Brush Tool (opacity 30%, soft-edged) to impose them to the cathedral.

Step 15

Assign Color blending mode to this layer.

Step 16

Now the cathedral and the sky is a united composition. In order to make any picture look bright, we need contrast. For that purpose use warm and cold color, we have already performed this method while adding contrast of the sky, now we should do the same with the cathedral; let’s choose less bright colors again. Create a new layer, assign Overlay blending mode to it. Select the Brush Tool (Opacity: 30%) and soft-edged brush again, then paint out prominent parts of the cathedral using cold color (#8d8fd3), for other parts of the cathedral we choose warm color (#753d3d).

Step 17

If we assign Normal blending mode to this layer, the result should be approximately the following:

There is only one detail left. If we look on the edges of the cathedral, we can notice that the main source of light is situated behind the cathedral, so the rays that come through the clouds should light the walls of the cathedral partially.

Create a new layer, select the Brush Tool (Opacity: 100%) and soft-edged brush again and light the corner of the castle partially, select color using the Eyedropper Tool.

The general picture should approximately look like my screenshot below:

Step 19

In order to make the picture look better, it’s worth making the edges dark, it will draw attention to the centre and will give the feeling of depth and volume. Create a new layer, select the Brush Tool (Opacity: 100%) with soft-edged brush again and darken the edges with black color.

Final Image

Now change blending mode for this layer to Soft Light.

Seni karikatur dapat kita ciptakan juga dengan photoshop. Langsung saja ke TeKaPe.

1. Buka file foto yang hendak kita edit. File-Open.

foto yang akan diedit sebaiknya jenis foto dengan angle (arah pengambilan foto) dari depan.

2. Kemudian lakukan retouching pada bagian wajah, dengan Clone Stamp Tool kita buat wajah semakin halus.

Aktifkan Clone stamp tool atau tekan (S). tekan Alt dan klik pada permukaan wajah yang halus dengan daerah komposisi warna yang agak sama. Lepas Alt dan sapukan pada daerah wajah yang berbintik-bintik. Lakukan alt dan Klik lagi bila pada daerah dengan komposisi warna yang sudah beda. (cloning pada dearah gelap tidak pada daerah terang)

Kalo hasilnya mukanya terlalu bopeng (rata semua), lakukan Burning dibagian yang terlihat gelap agar mendapatkan kembali bentuk wajah aslinya.


3. Setelah Retouching pada wajah, maka didapatkan wajah yang halus dan terlihat seperti 3D modeling efect (karakter kartun 3D).


Kemudian lakukan stretching pada gambar. Potong bagian kening ke atas dengan marquee tool.

Dan tekan control+T, klik kanan dan pilih Distort.

Lalu enter dan kepalanya jadi agak gede.

4. Sekarang kita pilih Filter- Liquify.
Pilih Forward Warp Tool. Dan lakukan tarik menarik pada wajah yang ingin dibentuk.

Warp tool bisa dicoba satu2, dan bentuk wajah sperti karet. Usahakan tonjolkan pada bagian wajah yang lebih identik.
Pada foto ini,saya tonjolkan bentuk muka, mulut dan matanya.

5. Bagi foto menjadi 2 bagian, kepala dan badan. Titik potong pada leher dan lakukan warping/stretching pada 2 bagian tersebut.

6. Kemudian pilih Filter- Artistic- Dry Brush. Setting komposisi brush size=1, brushdetail=10, texture=2, dan klik icon new effect layer dibagian kanan bawah.

Kemudian pilih efek Rough Pastels dengan komposisi

Pastikan texture= Burlap dan centang Invert.
(komposisi dapat diatur sesuai selera dan hasil yang diinginkan).

7. Tambahkan pernak-pernik hiasan pada gambar sebagai pemanis. Tambah Shadow pada setiap tepi wajah, biar dapat sentuhan animasinya. Dan bila ingin warna yang lebih pas tekan Ctrl+L atur sesuka hatimu.
